The Metro Club got involved with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers for the third time running, this year. We were fortunate enough to get a grant from Heritage Bank that went a long way towards our incredible floral display.  We also had some good support from QB4 who supplied the Kawasaki mule to tow the float. All our families got involved in the float preparation, the paper flower making and marching in the parade on the actual day.

It's one of those events where not only the Rotarians get involved, but their partners and little ones, and we couldn't have had a more perfect day for it. At the end of the parade, the club was commended on its float, and we capped it off with a celebration; a drink at the German Beer Garden. Another job well done, and the general feeling was that we will do it again!
